Wow it took days to recover from my weekend! Bless your body,Bless your soul, pray for peace and a little self control!

2912_1006822466826_1712852270_6597_5916683_n It's probably based on the fact that I have been hill training and the lack of sleep.. Hmmm..The weekend left me wondering what I have done and what has been done to me and what I have become.... Watch the video below and I think it pretty much expresses how I felt by the time Sunday morning came around..... It's crazy at this point in my life I am happy... My moms health is getting better and also I have been forgiven by everyone that I hurt... People can heal over time....I wasn't the only one to blame for what happen in the past, but I decided to take most of the blame because you know what "I can take the weight and the shackles that it imposes on your mind and body"!... I am also happy that I have grown into a better person over these past 6 months and I have finally grown into an adult who values both his family and friends... I needed the time and I wish I could have only done it earlier, but you can't go back, you just have to keep on moving foward.. I just have to focus on improving myself and getting ready my 15k run!

Getting back to the tech news Morro,is going to come out and in my opinion is going to be a strong contender in the anti virus software because it is going to be free! Here is a brief interview that provide more details..

Here are a few more tidbits (my questions and a spokesperson from Microsoft’s Windows team’s answers):

Q: Was anyone threatening MS with a lawsuit (antitrust or otherwise) over OneCare? Is that why Microsoft is dropping the product?

A: The decision to discontinue sales of OneCare and distribute a free antimalware product, code named “Morro,” was made for sound business reasons and was not driven by any legal concerns–litigation or otherwise.

Q: Will Moro be available to users in the U.S. as well as overseas?

A: At a minimum, the new solution will initially be available to consumers in all markets where Windows Live OneCare is currently available. It will also be broadly available for download at no additional charge. We will announce more details closer to the solution being available.

Q: Do we know yet whether Morro will be a Windows Live service?

A: We will announce more details closer to the solution being available.

Q: Will Morro be an optional download, like the Windows Live Essentials suite? (or part of this suite)?

A: The new no-cost solution will be a separate download and available for download at no additional charge. We don’t have anything else to add at this time.

(Unlike some pundits, I don’t think Microsoft could/will be hit with an antitrust complaint for providing free antimalware software/services, as other vendors already do this. If Microsoft makes Morro part of the Windows Live Essentials suite and provides links to Morro service as part of Windows 7, I think it might be opening itself up to more potential legal challenges. All that said, IANAL.)

Q: Will Morro work with Windows Defender? Will it replace Defender? Will Defender still be “part” of Windows 7?

A: This announcement does not impact Defender. Windows Defender detects and removes known spyware only.  Windows Defender does not protect against the full breadth of malicious software, and specifically does not prevent viruses, worms, Trojans, and other malicious software from infecting your machine.  The new no-cost solution will be a comprehensive antimalware solution.

Looks good.....

Serendipity?

Ha,,,another week, another long night and another hike... I have come across some interesting concepts recently, that have changed my way of thinking about how I view life... One that I would like to share with you is that in order to have a fulfilling life you have to have a passion for something! I will right more about it when I have a chance to collect my thoughts....Hope you like my new video..I think it's one of my best ones so far...The hike was just so damn relaxing and stimulating... Due to the elevation of this mountain 6,000 feet, the cool fresh ocean air mixes with a scent of pine as it makes it's way up and over the mountain. It makes you wonder why don't make into a perfume out of it! Oh, and the hike is my most recent one...Cuyamaca Peak in Julian... It's amazing how my mind changes when summer comes around.....  " Cut in motion and I just can't stop"! Ha,ha, ha.... "Addicted to the shin dig"?

El Capitan has been climbed!

I hiked the El Capitan mountain and it is now officially my most favorite hike in San Diego. It is considered a strenuous hike, but I found it to be just right, in terms of hills and distance. The crazy thing is that it is an 11 mile hike and its only 25 minutes away from San Diego...So it makes me wonder..Why is there little information on this hike on the net? Hmmm, I will post for specific information about the hike on my Hikes Blog later....In the meantime I hope you enjoy the video below...

Yeah.. I finished the run.... Next is the Mud Run in June!

BayYeah, I finished the race in 37 minutes and I beat my fellow co-worker by 2 minutes. I wasn't even pushing it, but did manage to blow my knee!Hmmmmm. Hope you like the video below and lets see what happens at the Mud Run...

This Sunday I am running the 4 mile race! Number 4837!

IMG00935 Yeah, this weekend is the day that I run the Coronado Bay bridge run! I decided to take my cell phone and take pics and post them both on Face book and my Blog! I think I am ready because my health is better(I am becoming a running machine) and I have stopped drinking in excess... All I have to do is beat my fellow co-worker who I just found out has bet against me.. I am shooting to finish the run in 45 minutes due to the up hill run will consume most of my energy and it is a 5.5 degree climb!... I can't believe how good I feel and it is perfect timing because summer is almost here!

Heard this song at a wine bar the other day and I just can't stop listening to it! I hope you like it... A very vocal-centric and aesthetically pleasing song! I like the vibe!

May 02, 2009

Wow, how things have changed!

My life is going great and it is official that I am doing the 4 mile bay bridge run! My mind and body are ready to hit the pavement( My weight is 178
) and I am shooting to  lose 8 more pounds and complete the race in 40 minutes! I just have to stop drinking in excess the night before I run. Check out both videos below... I know they may sound depressing, but they are not... Hope you like them!

A 500 GB DVD? Wow... Life is good!

Ge-holo  "G.E. is again boasting of a physical disc storage breakthrough with the potential to hold 10 to 20 times more data than a Blu-ray disc and 100 times more data than a DVD. This isn’t the first time G.E. has spoken of its progress in holographic storage research but the New York Times is now reporting the company has made a new breakthrough. G.E.’s technology encodes holographic light patterns onto in a disc and packs data far more densely than the optical technology used by DVDs and Blu-ray discs. In fact, the technology in its current lab state is said to allow for up to 500GB of data storage on a single disc. For comparison, a Blu-ray disc holds 25 or 50GB and a DVD holds 5GB of data. The key to G.E.’s success with this technology of course, is making it affordable — other companies will be introducing holographic storage solutions as soon as this year. InPhase Technologies for example, will soon introduce a specialized holographic storage system geared towards the medical industry" I am impressed by this break through in storage technology..

Android-logo Also, when the android phone came out,I predicted that an android OS will make a debut and I was right! "

Alpha-680-thumb-450x521

"There has been so much talk of an Android netbook for the past few months and a few people were even successful in running the OS on their own netbooks. This time talk gets a little more serious as a price tag has accompanied the latest news of a Google-based netbook. Skytone, maker of the Alpha 400, will soon be releasing the Android-powered Alpha 680. So far little is known about the unit other than the fact it will be smaller and lighter than ASUS Eee portables and it will make use of the 533 MHz ARM11 processor (similar to the one in the iPhone). So, if you’re a pretty big fan of Android and wondering when on Earth it will be released, Skytone is pushing to have the manufacturing process in gear within the next three months. If the company can stick to the $250 tag it’s aiming for, we’re thinking this could be a pretty decent competitor in the low-end netbook market." The info above is from the Boy Genius site...

Wow, a great song below! Nothing compares to its tempo and lyrics... Its amazing...

Regrets I had a few, but once again there are to many to mention! Blah!

"Serve me the sky with a big slice of lemon"!

I don't know what happen, but I really messed up this Saturday... Like always people seem to misinterpret  me when I am in an altered state of mind.. Do to some medication I have been taking I think I may have hurt at least 6 people on Saturday and only 4 of them have chosen to forgive me,  while the other two have chosen to forget me(one was a good friend!)No love lost in the valley of dolls, I guess!... Och! I have stopped taking the prescription cold turkey despite the advise of my doctor in the hope that I can start being my self again! I miss having real feelings...

Anyways, the rest of the weekend was good... I ran up cowles mountain on Saturday( the tallest mountain in the San Diego area, 1,500 foot climb) my ex Lorena inspired me to do it..she was an awesome runner... After the run I hiked/ ran Plyes Peak and the worst thing you can do is not take water on this hike because there is no shade! Easy hike to do and I completed it in within an hour and 20 minutes and I recommend the hike to anyone...I am going to do it again this weekend and will take a camera to take some pics so that I can post it to my hike page...

Oh, and for the very first time in my life I have been called a "pussy"! It made me laugh because it is such a soft, meaningless word, but it is killing me not knowing who said it.. Funny...

"Let me hold you in you in my arms,

I was always careless as a child"

Great song,,, has a retro, new wave, joy division feel,,, nice!

Oh and also you have to check out the yeah yeah yeahs, new song called 'Zero",,,Great song, but still not better then the song  "Maps"! I Hope you like the video version below of Maps and you should check them out in June at 94.9 Independence Jam..

"Your kind. my kind, don't stray, Wait!"

Liver is back to 100%

3712 Yeah, I am happy that my liver is back to normal and that my health is getting better! I did it by cutting back on what I eat, drink and stress. It's amazing how your body can recover in such a short period of time, if you take care of it!  I still have about a month to go to get back into the shape and I think I can do it as long as keep it up! I am also exited that I have found a new mountain to climb! It is called Pyles Peak and you have to climb cowless mountain to get there so it should be a good challenge..  I am almost ready for summer!
Check out the cool video below of the Group Franz Ferdinand, there last CD sucked but this CD shows some promise!

Magnificent!

DSC07912

I didn’t make it the desert, but I did get to do a couple of hikes with some really cool people... I also got offered a new job that could make me or break me, but I won’t find out until Monday. In addition,  my health is getting a lot better I dropped from weighing 220 to only weighing 180 pounds and I am running 4 miles without breaking a sweat. I am slowly believing that I can run the 4 mile Coronado Bridge run and my attitude on life is slowly changing as well. Despite all this I am still finding myself missing something that seems that everyone has, but I think I am doing a good job of training myself to not care for not having it. That’s when I heard the new U2 song “Magnificent” and remembered what I use to have and how much I miss having it(Damn U2!)… I hope you like the video below… Finally, U2 is coming to the Rose bowl and the tickets are as low as 31.00 dollars... I am going to try and get some tickets! Yeah right, they will sell out in 10 minutes!

Only love can leave such a mark,

Only love can heal such a scar!

OH OH OH OH! Great song,,,one of their best!

Heading out to Anza Borrego this weekend! Gmail gives you the option of deleting a message..

ThumbGenerate I have been going out the desert pretty much every year to check out the wild flowers and even though I am going late this year, I should be able to see some flowers. Its good to get out of the city and take a trip to the most inhospitable place in southern California, but I like the drive, the heat, and the barren landscape that the desert has to offer. I will just have to make sure that my past memories don't ruin my trip and its cool that some people have decided to join me on this day trip. I will post some photos and maybe video when I get back..

It's been a while since I blogged something about technology, but if you don't already know, Gmail labs has introduced something that is so simple, but very useful when it comes to email processes. They have given us the ability to delete sent messages!  This is how it works..

Once the send button is hit, gmail will probably take 2-3 seconds to process the email. And immediately after that, it actually provides an undo link that gives you the chance to undo the email sending up to 5 seconds (exclusive of the 2-3 seconds process time).

undo

After 5 seconds time limit is reached, the undo link will disappear, which also means that you cannot do any undo action to the email anymore and it will be sent out to all recipients successfully. In fact the 5 seconds recall time is not configurable as of now since it is hardcoded in logic and we cannot change the buffer to make it longer. To activate this feature, just go to Setting -> Labs, then look for “Undo Send”.  I just wished that they would give you at least 10 seconds!

The gap between the world's rich and poor has never been wider. Malnutrition, AIDS, conflict and illiteracy are a daily reality for millions. But it isn't chance or bad luck that keeps people trapped in bitter, unrelenting poverty. It's man-made factors like a glaringly unjust global trade system, a debt burden so great that it suffocates any chance of recovery and insufficient and ineffective aid.
