Mission Trails 4 Peak Hike...

I have ran/hiked 3 peaks in Mission Trails before, so I decided today to try my luck and do 4 peaks. The peaks I decided to hike/run were

  1. South Fortuna Mountain(via Mission Gorge Road)
  2. North Fortuna Mountain
  3. Kumeyaay Peak
  4. South Fortuna(from via Oak trail)

Everything was going good until the temperatures reached the 80 degree mark which made this trail run almost unbearable. Don't get me wrong I love to run in the heat, but it been a while since I have ran in these kinds of temperatures... I will write more when I get a chance about the hike, but overall it was about 14.3 miles long and the overall elevation gain was just over 4,000 feet....A nice local hike to do on any given weekend.....
